Most countries charge an import tax, VAT, or customs duty, and there may also be a clearance fee. These potential fees and taxes are separate from the shipping charge you see on the Cart page. They are usually assessed and collected by your government after the package has cleared customs. The shipping carrier may collect these fees and taxes on behalf of your country.

Unfortunately, there is no calculator available on this site to find what taxes, VAT, duties, or clearance costs there may be. It varies with every destination and item type, and is assessed during clearance usually on a case-by-case basis. If you’re unsure, please contact your country’s customs department for more information prior to ordering. They may be able to give you guidance on approximate costs.

All international shipments require a contact name and phone number, in case the shipping carrier or the customs department needs to reach you.

If you have received a shipment and feel that the fees and taxes were too high, please send us a message right away so we can try to help. If possible, include the exact charges, and a scan or screenshot of any relevant information.
